We will arrange a meeting point close to the venue so we can drive into the display area in some form of order. Meet up time is expected to be about 8:30 but further information will be provided closer to the day.
The RACV Classic Showcase is organised by the MG Car Club and features the best of British and European vehicles.
Entry costs $15 per display car, which covers all occupants, and will be collected at the gate. Adult spectators not arriving in a display car will be charged $8 to enter ($6 with a RACV card). Children enter free.
Food and refreshments will be available. Their will be Music & Childrens entertainment. There will also be trade stalls.
A shuttle bus will be available for those wanting to visit the Chocolate factory, the Sunday market (if operating) or the town centre.
In addition to the general display there is a Car of the Show Award which will be made from pre-entered competitors only.
An entry fee of $20 plus normal admission will apply.

Register now for the 2017 Annual Dinner – the club’s night of nights. A night to remember and a night to celebrate all the winners of our Motorsport and Club awards. This year it will be held at the Grand Pittwater function centre, North Ryde. The theme will be “Eine deutsche Feier”, and therefore accompanied by suitable German attire. It’s time to hang up the track overalls and dust off the Lederhousen! Dinner will be a full buffet service including roast meat and veggies, with salads and an array of delicious desserts. Trophies will be presented to all the classes of the 2017 Supersprint Championship, as well as perpetual club Social awards including Club Member of the Year, the President’s Award and the David Kempt memorial trophy. There will also be a comprehensive visual display of the images from all our 2017 events. Join us for this special night.
Phillip Island Classic 2018 is dedicated to Celebrate 50 Years of Formula 5000 Racing
Regarded as one of the largest historic racing events in the world, the 2018 Phillip Island Classic will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the spectacular Formula 5000 worldwide racing with a field of more than 30 cars from Australia and New Zealand.
Running over 9th to 11th March, 2018, at the highly acclaimed Phillip Island circuit, the event will create international interest with five legends of Formula 5000 racing confirmed as patrons for the 50th celebratory year event.
Sadly, no Group A or Group C (ie JPS Team BMW) cars this year.
Entry fees will be charged at the gate by the organisers. For display cars its $10 for the weekend, $15 per day per passenger or $25 for the weekend per passenger. For non display cars the entry fee is $45 per person for Sunday.
We expect to meet close to the track at about 8:30 am.
Cars can leave at any time. Racing is usually over by 5 pm

Practice and Regularity Time setting for the 6 Hour Regularity Relay Teams Event.
We have one team ready to enter. It would be great to have 3 or 4 teams from BMW Drivers Club.
Form your team and get that entry in before Australia Day.
The purpose-built indoor racing circuit in Melbourne features grading, sunken corners, a pit lane bridge, three long straights, fast sweepers, two tight and two wider hairpins, two switchbacks and much more. The race format is qualifying and finals, guaranteeing plenty of track time.
The cost is $85 for members and $95 for non-members.
The minimum age for drivers is 13 years.
(Must be accompanied by an adult)
Please arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand for the driver briefing. A blood alcohol level of zero is required for drivers. We recommend that drivers wear comfortable clothing such as jeans, a shirt and closed toe shoes.
Food and beverages will be available to purchase at your own cost.
