Congregate at Auto Classic at 10.00 am for a 10.30 am start on a drive through the hills to Lake Charlotte Winery Cafe, out the back of Wooroloo and by a pretty lake, for a relaxing Sunday lunch.
RSVPs will be necessary to book your seats at the table, but all in good time.
Not your ordinary indoor games, The Simulation Centre provides 3D experiences of golf and other ball sports and, wait for it, race car driving simulations.
You can drive at Bathurst in a V8 Supercar or a BMW, learn the track and achieve a serious race time, all the time using the controls in a real-time, force-fed environment. Sounds like too much fun, with absolutely no danger if you crash.
There’s a licenced bar and cafe too, so you can shout the bar when you break the lap record at Mount Panorama.
There’s 3D movies and lots of other stuff for the kids to do so bring the family too.

The meeting will be held at the club rooms, located at the South Perth Lawn Tennis Club, McNabb Loop, Como. The meeting starts at 7:30 so make sure you are there a few minutes beforehand.
This year sees several country runs added to the calendar. They will be meeting at Parliament Place at 8:30, in preparation for a 9am departure. More details of the destination will be added once confirmed, so check here regularly!
Who cares if it’s the middle of winter and it’s cold – what you need is to come and sit by the log fire (first in, best dressed) at Alfred’s Kitchen in Guildford and partake of one or more of his finest burgers while quaffing BYO red wine out of plastic cups and amusing the locals and the tourists with your tales of extreme BM’ing.
No major organisation required for this one, just rock up with some warm clothes from about 7.00 pm to catch up with your fellow BMW Club adventurers.
Display your BMW at the Car Show, in amongst 100s of other classic cars of all shapes and sizes, as part of a fundraiser for worthy causes. Or alternatively, just come along and admire all the cars on display for charity.
Club members can put their vehicles on display, then go and have coffee, brunch, lunch, arvo tea or even a beer or two in any one of the myriad local cafes and bars on Angelo Street, on a beautiful spring day.
This year we will be combining with the Minis as part of our local homage to BMW’s 100 Years Celebration.
The Club will provide a catered picnic lunch and a complimentary glass of Houghton sparkling wine under the shady pine trees by the Old Homestead at The Houghton Winery. Bring the family, picnic chairs and hats as we enjoy the conviviality of our final event of the year and deal with the formalities of the Annual General Meeting to elect next year’s Committee.
Come join us for a relaxing coffee morning and enjoy the coffee and patisseries at Flavours Patisseries and admire the wonders of the little E30.
All members and other models of BMW’s are welcome, we are hoping for a great show of these amazing little cars.
Race cars more than welcome too.
Registration is not essential, BUT would be nice to gauge how many will be attending so we can let the coffee shop know for staffing.
