Round 1 of our annual Supersprint Competition is at Sydney Motorsport Park South Circuit (Amaroo). This is an interesting tight and twisty circuit that is ideal for those members who would like to have a go at running their BMWs on a Motor race circuit. You and your BMW will love the experience.
Supersprinting is timed motorsport – not door handle to door handle racing. We like to see all our members enjoying this entry level motorsport and we even accept entries from members of other CAMS affiliated clubs. Special deal of $250 entry fee for our Club Members and visitors pay an extra $25 on the day at sign in. Car numbers $2 each and battery triangles $1 each are for sale at sign in so bring cash.
We will run a special session for new comers with experienced drivers acting as coaches showing you the way.
The new rules for 2018 and all the information is on this website in Motorsport. The rules include the new Annex C that must be submitted at sign in by all members who wish to compete in the annual competition. Remember, you can win valuable trophies in the annual competition.
As always, we must have volunteers to run our Supersprint events. Members receive 5 competition points if they volunteer for a day as a Flag Marshal. All volunteers are provided with lunch and the best seat in the house on trackside. There are even laps in a supersprint car at lunch time for those volunteers who would like to experience speed from the passenger’s seat. Please email me email@example.com if you can help.
